A beach meeting that kept growing
Praveen Ariyaratne, founder of Sugar Coliving Group, met Lahiru on Weligama surf beach around 2022. Praveen had come to Weligama with his first hostel, Sugar Hostel Weligama, and met Lahiru while walking beside the surf. The conversation became a friendship, and the friendship became a practical partnership that continues today.

Tuk-tuk connections
Hotel-to-surf-school tuk-tuk pickup and return can be arranged for an additional location-based charge. Transport is not included automatically, so confirm the pickup place, time and price before the ride.
