Maria and Roma met Lahiru on Weligama beach around 2018. What began with surfing together grew into a long-running friendship and working partnership, returning to the water and sharing lessons across cultures.
Today that connection brings together international surf instructors and the knowledge of Sri Lankan local instructors. Guests can experience Weligama through the people who know the bay, while Russian-speaking beginners can ask for explanations in a language that feels comfortable.
